Introducing the Studio: an all-in-one place to submit your art and manage your drafts. This update is available to beta testers and will be released to more deviants soon. Opt in to beta testing to try it! Submit with Style and Ease The submit process has been redesigned to make it easier and faster than ever to publish and monetize your art on DeviantArt. Visually, the submit process now matches the rest of DeviantArt, and functionally, you can do so much more: Easily create and edit descriptions with the same text editor as elsewhere on DeviantArt. Select where to publish your deviation. You can add it to a Gallery or submit to a group. Offer your deviation for sale with Core Membership—easily sell your submission as a Premium Download, or add it to a Premium Gallery or subscription tier. Feature: Designing characters and creatures + more
It is time to feature more tutorials and undiscovered art! :la: As usual, the feature will be divided. The first part includes tutorials on how to design characters and creatures, and the second part is a selection of artwork I’ve discovered recently with fewer than 50 favourites. Previous features are linked at the bottom of the journal, and I post a new feature each month on my profile, usually around the 15th :dummy: We'll start off with some guides on how to design human/humanoid characters. First, @Dinloss has an excellent walk-through of how to design the character themselves - their body, their hair, pose, and much more. However, the clothes and accessories of a character are also essential to their looks - which is covered more in-depth by @HANIICU and @Deamond-89, with one discussing functionality and style and the other cloth detailing, including how to draw those: Animal characters are a different beast, however =P Luckily, we have experts on the topic -
Multi-deviation submissions to Groups have returned! Many Group admins have requested the ability to submit multiple deviations simultaneously, a feature that was possible in the previous version of Groups. To submit multiple deviations, simply click Submit > Add Existing Deviation and then select the deviations you’d like to submit. Keep sharing your feedback about the new Groups, and thanks to the Group admins who requested this feature!
